Epic Helicopter Ride over Oahu and Surprise Engagement on a Mountain Top

This epic helicopter ride and surprise engagement at the top of the Ko’olau Mountain range is absolutely one for the books!

Josh had reached out to me asking if I would be willing to take a helicopter ride with him, his girlfriend Kala, and her daughter and land in the mountains, but here’s the kicker, it was all a surprise!

I had to act like a tourist going on a helicopter tour, all the while Josh secretly had an epic proposal in the works.

When we landed on the Ko’olau ridge overlooking Kualoa Ranch, we quickly and quietly decided exactly where he should go to propose. When I was ready with my camera gear (and phone for behind the scenes video!) Josh got down on one knee and popped the question
